Who needs to sign a Founder Agreement?
Our Founder Agreement is an agreement between each founder and the company (rather than between the founders themselves) which sets out the commitments of the founder to grow the company, assign any intellectual property developed in the course of their relationship with the company to the company, specifies their share vesting provisions, and more.
Each founder agreement is signed by that founder and someone who is acting on behalf of the company. If you’re a solo founder, no need to worry, you can sign this on behalf of the company and yourself. And, even if you're one of several founders, you can also sign your own agreement for yourself and on behalf of the company, though it's preferable if you can get one of your co-founders to co-sign yours, and vice versa.
