How to Use the AI Health Check (Step-by-Step Guide)

Using the AI Health Check is a smart way to improve your Advance Assurance application before submitting it to our team — it can help catch issues early, improve your deck and speed up the review process when used alongside SeedLegals’ template pitch deck! 

Here’s how to get started:

Step 1: Understand What the AI Health Check Is

Before you begin, keep this in mind:

  • The tool is in beta, so some feedback may be incomplete or not fully accurate
  • It’s AI-powered, so it can sometimes get things wrong or miss context
  • It’s for guidance only — not legal, tax, or financial advice
  • It only reviews your pitch deck, not other documents
  • If anything conflicts with feedback from your SeedLegals reviewer, always follow the reviewer’s advice

💡 Important: It’s completely normal if your reviewer’s comments are similar to — or even different from — what the AI says. Don’t worry. Your reviewer will give you the most accurate guidance based on your specific application.

Step 2: Upload Your Pitch Deck

  • Go to “2. Upload required documents” on the platform
  • Upload your pitch deck there before running the check

Step 3: Run the AI Health Check

  • Navigate to “Complete & send application for review”
  • Click on the “Run health check” button

Step 4: Review the Feedback

  • Go through the comments provided by the AI
  • Act on as many suggestions as you can
  • Don’t worry if something is unclear — your reviewer will go through everything later

Step 5: Improve Your Deck

  • Make updates based on the feedback
  • Do your best to refine and strengthen your deck based on the feedback given

Step 6: Reupload Your Updated Deck

  • Delete the old version by clicking the three dots
  • Upload your revised pitch deck to the platform

Step 7: Submit Your Application

  • Make sure:
    • Your deck is final
    • All supporting documents are uploaded
    • Your questionnaire is complete
  • Then click “Submit for review”

Step 8: Wait for Review

  • A dedicated reviewer will contact you within 5 working days
  • They’ll provide detailed, tailored feedback to maximise your chances of success 
  • You can then discuss any feedback with them in more detail

The AI Health Check is your first check — your reviewer is your expert deep dive. Use both to give your application the best possible chance.
